Mid-Autumn Celebration for Old Folks of Mongkok
We had the opportunity to partner with Carol Halter of The HK Lutheran Handicrafts Society to reach out to the most vulnerable of our society, the old folks of Mongkok, most of them living in crowed conditions in cage / cubicle homes in the area.
It was with great delight for the elderly to gather together for a group birthday celebration and to receive Cookie Smiles’ Traditional Mooncake Cookies & Mookies treats, followed by a delicious Dim Sum lunch at a nearby restaurant.
