It was a very meaningful time of celebrating and sharing the Chinese New Year with our our elderly friends of Shek Kip Mei who were so happy to gather in spite of the cold weather!
We set up a dessert table and served up 140 warm meals, which were prepared by our friends at Shine Skills Centre Cafe @shineskillscentre, for the marginalized elderlies who gathered for their afternoon Christian fellowship at Concordia Lutheran School.
After all, a community is meant to be sweet, warm and heart-filling!
If you’d like to support our friend Carol Halter’s ministry of the The HK Lutheran Handicrafts Society by volunteering or financially contributing to the next event, please do let us know.
