Amidst the Covid-19 upheaval in 2020, Agnes Chin (Director of Complete Deelite & Founder of EAGAA) sensed an opportunity to help spread hope in a time of despair. She partnered up with Jo Soo-Tang, an NGO advisor, fellow cooking aficionado, and mother to three, to create Cookie Smiles – an online fundraising platform. Born with a mission to support the disadvantaged, and to satisfy the world with the greatest comfort food of all time – the cookie. The cookie collection is designed to delight both children and adults alike. Only the freshest and finest ingredients are selected to bake, handcrafting delicious cookies delivered directly to you.
We are a local social enterprise under the Edible Artists Global Academy Association, whose purpose is to help support different charities every year via fundraising, offer training opportunities for the disadvantaged, and to provide jobs for the physically impaired.

A native of Sarawak, Borneo, developing food related products and innovating different ways to engage with the general public has been her passion since her youth, a trait she owes to her late mother.
Agnes Chin has always been a person of adventure with a keen sense of always looking out for a true purpose in all that she endeavors in life. Her latest foray with Jo Soo-Tang in birthing “Cookies Smiles” has been a seed, that has long been waiting to be planted.
Co-Founder of Cookie Smiles, Strategic Advisor of Food Made Good Hong Kong
Jo Soo-Tang was born in Hong Kong to parents of Japanese, Shanghainese and Polynesian descent and grew up in HK, UK and Oz.
After a career with several PR firms, she started a consultancy to have a flexible working schedule for her kids. She was also involved with the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation (HKAHF) for over 30 years as a volunteer.
Jo now resides in Hong Kong with her three children and husband and is the Co-Founder of Cookie Smiles and Strategic Advisor of Food Made Good Hong Kong. Food Made Good Hong Kong is a membership community, a chapter of the UK’s Sustainable Restaurant Association, dedicated to making every meal served out of home as sustainable as possible. She supports FMG HK, because at the end of the day she wanted to be involved in something where she was able to make a difference. For Jo, food sustainability is all about where and how she buys food, who cooks the food and where does the leftover food go.
With food, you can really teach your kids more about sustainability as it is such an integral part of everyday life. At the end of the day, it comes down to what she is passionate about these days. Eating and cooking!
